Getting around in Florida Keys is easy, all you need to know is the nearest mile marker (MM) and you are there!
It all starts with Key West at "MM 0" and goes all the way to Key Largo, which is located more or less at "MM 100."
The 113-mile string of islands is divided into three areas.
The Upper Keys stretch from Key Largo to around Layton.
The Middle Keys, from Duck Key, driving down to Grassy Key, where the Dolphin Research Center is located on to Coco Plum, Key Colony Beach and Marathon, the Heart of the Florida Keys.
The Seven Mile Bridge joins The Middle Keys to The Lower Keys where you will live in green wooded hammocks and quiet neighborhood, until you reach the most Southern Point of North America, Key West the home of Hemingway.
